Party at the Mansion . …. Kick-off party for Holiday House was held at the historic, elaborately carved Academy Mansion on 63rd Street. The who’s who of NYC Interior Design Industry came out to support the 2013 kick-off party for the Breast Cancer Charity.

Since the beginning 6 years ago, Interior Designer, Iris Dankner a breast cancer survivor has coordinated efforts to feature the industry’s top designers.  Using their talents to create Holiday themed rooms and vignettes; Campion Platt, Cullman and Kravis, Mario Buatta, James Rixner and Scott Formby are just a few of the 26 designers featured this year.

Holiday House is about the celebration of life and this kick-off party proved that celebration is something the design industry does very well.

Be enchanted, be inspired, be a supporter of Holiday House NYC.

Academy Mansion, built by Willaim Ziegler in 1921 is  limestone facade with
4 stories and totals 26,000 square feet and the home for Holiday House 2013.

The Opening Night Gala will take place on November 20th and the four week run will end on December 18th.  Interior Designer Ally Coulter will be adding a twist to this year’s theme and collaborating with the NFL to design an elegant football themed lounge with the Heisman Trophy as an accessory.
