Iris Dankner opened the doors of the Academy Mansion and
hosted her annual Holiday House Gala. Since 2008, Holiday House has grown into a dynamic show house with talented top tier designers using life celebrations as themes for their rooms. The proceeds benefit breast cancer research.
More than 450 design enthusiast, socialites and industry insiders walked through the 4 story mansion during gala night. Three open bars, tray pass nibbles and jazz tunes from Carlyle Hotel favorite the Chris Gillespie Trio. It was nice to see the Dankner Family, Vicente Wolf, Thom Filicia, Antonino Buzzetta, Katie Scott, Drew McGukin, Guillaume Gentet, Tori Mellot, Ally Coulter, Myra Biblowitz, Barbara Viteri, Stacy Garcia, Emma Hao, Tom Lampson, James Rixner, Brad Shar, Lisa McMahon, Jade Dressler, Christopher Hyland and so many others.
The Academy Mansion at 2 East 63rd Street has once again been transformed into a showcase of the best in interior design and the Gala celebration was elegant and charming. The show house will welcome visitors seven days a week until December 2, 2015. All event proceeds benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
