I arrived early to Arlene Angard's gallery walk and opening reception. Her smart New York Art Gallery is a refreshing and timely change for this veteran Interior Designer. I arrived just as Arlene was negocio de última hora or completing some last minute business. Her check list for the new Winter Collection of American Artists of the 20th and 21st Century exhibit was complete. We had just begun the tour of the cleverly divided (old and new) east 71st Street flat when the bartender who was wisely placed on double duty began buzzing in guests and greeting them with a cold Cava or white wine at the door. It is nice to begin the gallery tour with a refreshment option. nice touch Arlene.
Artists like William Engel + Jerry Teters + Gerald Siciliano + Virginia Dutton and Jeremy Silva have connected with Arlene's new American concept. A modern mix of color and texture + glass and canvas have turned the second floor gallery space into a charming, colorful collective.
Other guests began to arrive; interior design clients, real estate connectors, artists and art collectors mingled and admired during the 5-8pm opening. Thank you Arlene Angard and your wonderful team - your gallery opening was a regalo para la vista or sight for sore eyes.
