Elizabeth Kennedy orchestrated an elegant couture fashion show held at the Four Seasons Restaurant on East 52nd. It was a grand gesture from team Kennedy - There are few restaurants better keyed to the tempo of Manhattan than the Four Seasons.
Spectacular - Modern - Audacious
delineates the location and red carpet gown collection from Elizabeth Kennedy.
Fashionable guests sat at tables and banquettes, as models cascaded down staircases, posed, turned and glided to the next open area. DJ FLO skillfully remixed classic dance tunes as glorious glamorous gowns continued to awe and intrigue editors, socialites and fashionistas.
The 30 minute high-style presentation began with a champagne and appetizer prelude. Tuna tartare - caviar & cream- mini-cheese balls and more were served by the black-tied waiters who began working at the restaurant when it opened in 1959. It was an elegant evening.
It seems Ms. Kennedy is well versed in fashion and education - she has contributed to a fashion camp for the young and I don't mean under 40. I had the pleasure of sitting next to Lisa whose 8 year old daughter Ella attended "Stitched Camp" and shared rave reviews & highlights.

Elizabeth Kennedy studied at Parsons School of Design, graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design. She became a rising star at prestigious fashion houses; Donna Karan, J.Mendel, MaxMara and Isaac Mizrahi. Her namesake luxury brand is handmade in NYC, sold at Bergdorf Goodman and donned by Mariah Carey, Laverne Cox, Molly Sims, Sharon Osborne and Christina Hendricks. FOUR SEASONS RESTAURANT
The Four Seasons restaurant has sat in the 38-story Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-designed Seagram Building since 1959. Its long reign as “absolute ground zero for power lunching,” is expected to end this year according to Vanity Fair. The fab restaurant -known for its Pablo Picasso curtain and interiors designed by the American architect Philip Johnson, along with its venerable roster of regulars. Now, Aby Rosen will be a partner in the new restaurant from chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi, and their business partner Jeff Zalaznick , according to Page Six. They’ll reportedly take over the space when the lease for the Four Seasons ends in July 2016.
It‘s not the only change in store for the legendary Midtown Manhattan restaurant—the name will go along with the restaurant‘s owners, Julian Niccolini and Alex von Bidder. A name for the new restaurant has yet to be chosen, the New York Times reported. History may read : the last last fashion show at the iconic location was designed by Elizabeth Kennedy.
