on a Dime blasted off this
year's 3-day event with a VIP Opening Night Reception at the Metropolitan
Pavilion. After twelve years , Housing Works has established
"DOAD" as being a one-of-a-kind charity event that brings together
today's premier interior designers, celebrities, powerhouse companies and trendsetters in support of individuals living with
HIV/AIDS.

Guests are invited to wander around the Pavilion to
admire each of the designer's rooms, while having the option to shop the merchandise. The furniture, decoratives, art, lighting, books, pillows, throws and all other accents are sold at 50-70 percent
off retail pricing. Honestly, it is the best party and shopping experience of the season.
Tunes & Cocktails!
The Pavilion was filled with décor and beautiful people. The energy continued to rise as fresh cocktails were poured and DJ tunes blasted as if you were clubbing. This is no amateur production (shakin' my head and finger). Housing Works has carefully orchestrated a memorable evening for all who attend. You leave exhausted yet revived - visually saturated yet simulated. There is no other event which gives you so many options for enjoyment. Those of you with dirty minds - just keep it to yourselves or send me the option via email.

Most importantly, Housing Works hosts the Design on a Dime benefit to support
people living and affected by HIV/AIDS. They have dedicated their efforts end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through relentless advocacy, the provision of lifesaving services and entrepreneurial businesses.
