SNEAK PEEK AT DESIGN ON A DIME
PREPARE YOURSELF - HOUSING WORKS annual Design on a Dime event is going to be over the top fabulous. This year's carefully selected Interior Designers and Artists are "bringing it". There is no time for dull and dreary - you can go to the mall for that. Clever themes like "the new oval office" and "hey sailor" will be celebrated with vibrant colors, new product introductions and collectable art. This event is well attended by New York's elite design and decoration community. The networking opportunities are endless and stylish treasures for sale are countless.
Today, I rode my bike over to the Metropolitan Pavilion on 18th Street and 7th Avenue in Chelsea - designers were carefully arranging rugs, side tables, coffee tables, dining tables lamps, sofas, chairs, barstools, pillows, artwork, decoratives and so much more. Here are a few pics from my sneak peak and a few other tidbits for your enjoyment.
This event is open to the public, tickets are still available. DON'T MISS IT.
